My channel has slowly turned into a place where I just follow whatever I find interesting that day. No niche. No formula. No YouTube “expert” telling me what box I’m supposed to stay in. Just curiosity.
And today my curiosity landed on something that’s been a huge part of my life… radio.
I spent a lot of years behind a microphone. Early mornings, bad food, empty studios, the red “ON AIR” light glowing like it meant something bigger than just a job. To me it always did.
And lately I’ve been wondering something…
What if radio isn’t actually dead?
Maybe it just fell asleep for a while.
Everything runs in cycles. Vinyl disappeared… then came back. Long-form conversations were supposed to be dead… then podcasts exploded. Real personalities were replaced with algorithms… and now people are craving authenticity again.
So maybe — just maybe — radio comes back too.
Not the corporate, over-researched, safe version of it.
I’m talking about real radio.
A personality.
A microphone.
A connection with people who feel like they’re in the room with you.
Maybe I’m projecting hope.
Or maybe I’m just someone who has spent enough time behind a mic to know the magic of that connection never actually goes away.
Either way, I still believe in it.
And if it ever does come back around…
I’ll be ready.
