I've Been Rage-Baited. And So Have You.
It doesn't happen all at once.
First, someone tells you who the bad guys are. Then they tell you what you're supposed to be angry about. Before long, they're deciding what words you're allowed to use... and what you're supposed to be offended by.
The scary part? We keep coming back for another hit.
In this episode, I break down the subtle warning signs of rage-baiting, why it's so addictive, and the tiny split-second that determines whether we keep our minds—or hand them over.
Because the truth is, most people aren't nearly as complicated as we're led to believe. We all want the same basic things: to be healthy, to laugh, to love the people around us, and to go to bed with a little peace at the end of the day.
The people profiting from our outrage don't make money when we're calm.
Maybe the most rebellious thing you can do today... is refuse to take the bait.
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Have you ever caught yourself getting rage-baited? What snapped you out of it?
